Privacy Policy

Last updated November 6, 2026.

This policy explains what information Newhart Legal, P.A. collects through newhartlegal.com and how the firm uses it.

Information sent through the site

The contact form asks for a first and last name, email address, phone number, and a message. Squarespace, which hosts this site, processes form submissions and delivers them to the firm. The firm uses this information to respond to the inquiry and to evaluate a possible case. The firm does not sell it or share it for advertising.

Contacting the firm through the form, by email, or by phone does not create an attorney-client relationship. The firm represents a client only after both sides agree to the representation.

The case check

The case check on the home page runs in the visitor's browser. It does not ask for names or account numbers, and its answers are not sent to the firm or stored.

Cookies and similar technology

Squarespace sets a small number of cookies. Some are needed for the site to work, such as crumb, which protects form submissions. Others, such as ss_cvr and ss_cvt, count visits for the firm's site analytics. Visitors can accept or decline analytics cookies in the cookie banner and can clear cookies in their browser settings.

The site's fonts load from Adobe Fonts, which receives standard connection data such as an IP address. The site does not use advertising or social media tracking pixels.

Do Not Track

The site does not change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals. Analytics cookies can be declined in the cookie banner.

Retention

The firm keeps inquiries as long as needed to respond and to meet its professional obligations.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and the firm does not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

The firm may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
